On behalf of the District Amma Peravai of AIADMK, 24 hours food donation campaign was kick started at Mettupalayam bus stand, today.
Idli, Khichdi, Kesari, Vadai, Rice were served to all passengers and the public at the bus stand. The organisers informed that Annadhanam will be provided to people for the whole day.
Earlier, the charity was launched by Mettupalayam Legislator OK Chinnaraj and Amma Peravai District Secretary, Nasser.
Earlier, AIADMK executive committee members and volunteers marched upto Mettupalayam-Ooty main road and garlanded the statue of Jayalalithaa.
