Over 1000 BJP cadres took part in the rally the which was aimed to create an outreach to clarify the myths and misunderstandings regarding the Citizenship Act.
As the uprising against the Citizenship amendment Act is seen as a major setback for the Centre, BJP cadres across the country are holding rallies and meetings to dispel the misunderstandings and reassure the minorites.
Besides the ongoing anti-CAA protests, support for CAA in also on the rise. In one such outreach rally in Palladam on Sunday, BJP cadres led by Vanathi Srinivasan took out to the streets from Vadukapayalam and travelled through the main roads of Palladam and concluded on the NGR road.

They held placards reinstating that CAA will not affect the Muslims living in our country and also alleged that the opposition parties are trying to use the situation for vote bank politics.
"The BJP government was elected the second consecutive time by more 2 crore people. Hence, the signature movement but DMK which was collected 2 crore signatures against the CAA will have not any effect. People should not fall prey to the politics played by the opposition parties who blatantly instill fear among the Muslims regarding CAA", slammed Vanathi Srinivasan.
She condemned the DMK and its allied parties for instigating panic and chaos among the people.
"BJP is always open for comments and debates regarding the CAA", the BJP General Secretary noted.
Besides Vanathi Srinivasan, District and Executive Committee members of the party also participated in the rally.
