The Minister for Municipal Administration, RDI, SP Velumani made this announcement at an event he took part at the Kuniamuthur Government School, to distribute free laptops, bicycles and Q&A books for grade 10 and 12 students.
Speaking to the Press, he said, "Arrangements are underway to celebrate the 72nd birthday of Former CM Jayalalitha, in a grand and memorable way. As a part of this, preparations are ongoing to conduct baby shower for 72 pregnant women."
He added that all the 72 pregnant women will be offered 72 different things."We are sure Amma's soul will take part in the event and bless the women", he added.
