Coimbatore: At the weekly grievance day held at the City Corporation office on Wednesday, 57 petitions were submitted by the public, out of which few petitioners were given immediate redressal.
Coimbatore: At the weekly grievance day held at the City Corporation office on Wednesday, 57 petitions were submitted by the public, out of which few petitioners were given immediate redressal.
Public from various wards within the City Corporation limits thronged the Corporation office at Town Hall to submit petitions on various civic issues like drinking water, street lights, road facilities and sanitation.
Deputy Commissioner, Prasanna Ramasamy headed the meeting and received the petitions. He directed the concerned officials to address the grievances in a timely manner.
The petitioners who were given 'on the spot' redressal thanked the officials for swift action.
Zonal Assistant Commissioner Sundarrajan, T Ravi, Saravanan, Annadurai, M Selvan, Mahesh Kanagaraj, Executive Engineer Parvathy, Urban Development Officer (Planning), Ravichandran, Executive engineers V. Parvathi, T. Gnanvel, R. Sasipriya, PRO Mathialagan and other Corporation officials were present at the meeting.
