Coimbatore: Insisting the Tamil Nadu State government to pass a resolution in the assembly to reject CAA and condemning the police lathi charge on anti-CAA protestors in Chennai, the Muslim people in Coimbatore placed national flag atop houses to showcase their nationalism.
Coimbatore: Insisting the Tamil Nadu State government to pass a resolution in the assembly to reject CAA and condemning the police lathi charge on anti-CAA protestors in Chennai, the Muslim people in Coimbatore placed national flag atop houses to showcase their nationalism.

Many houses in several parts of the City including Ukkadam, Aathupalam, Karumbukkadai and Townhall have put up national flag at their houses and shops.

The national flags will be placed between 6 AM to 6 PM, in front of the houses and shops of Muslims living in Coimbatore. The coordinating committee of the SDPI party said that it was done to remind the Central and the State government that Muslims are also part of this nation.
