Tirupur: Condemning the attack on Muslims by police for protesting against CAA in Vannarapettai, Chennai, the Islamists in Tirupur involved in road roko near CTC near Kangeyam in Tirupur.
Islamists in Vannarapettai, Chennai protested against CAA without police permission which led to attack against them by police. Following this, the Islamists in Tirupur indulged in a road roko all of a sudden condemning this attack by the police.
Thousands of protestors, including women, took to the streets to protest which led to the traffic congestion on Tirupur's Kangayam road for more than two hours. After the release of the detainees in Chennai, the Islamists said that the protest was temporarily postponed.
