Coimbatore: Reminiscing 25 years, the silver jubilee celebration function of Department of Neurosurgery & Super Speciality Hospital of PSG Hospitals was held today at the PSGIMS & R Hospital auditorium.
G.R.Karthikeyan, Chairman PSG & Sons’ Charities was the chief guest at the event. Mr.L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG Institutions presided over the function and unveiled the silver jubilee logo of the Neurosurgery department.
During the Chief Guest address G.R.Karthikeyan spoke about the hospital's progress since its inception in 1989.
Dr.S.Ramalingam, Dean, PSGIMS & R Hospital delivered the keynote address. Dr.P.R.Rajkumar, HOD & Professor, Department of Neurosurgery & Medical Director, and PSGIMS& R Hospital gave an insight into various achievements in the hospital's 25 years journey of neurosurgery.
Dr.J.S.Bhuvaneswaran, Director, PSG Super Specialty Hospital welcomed the gathering and briefed about the various patient-friendly activities and also launched the an application to benefit the patients -- speedy appointments, chat box and trauma hotline - 7449108108.
The occassion concluded with the vote of thanks proposed by Dr.K.S.Thirumurthy, Professor, and Department of Neurosurgery.
