Coimbatore: Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer Sravan Kumar Jatavat held a review meeting with officials about the progress of 24X7 drinking water projects. Deputy Commissioner C. Prasanna Ramaswamy presided over the meeting.

During the meeting the Corporation Commissioner requested that, "24x7 drinking water projects in the Coimbatore Corporation should be completed promptly by the relevant officials and engineers. Drinking water pumps and drinking water supply lines should be efficiently completed."
He also said that, "there is a need to streamline drinking water supply across all parts of the corporation, to monitor drinking water pipeline metering and drinking water charges, and their maintenance should be improved.
"If the water pipe is broken or obstructed, the officials concerned should immediately fix it and safeguard against drinking water contamination," said Sravan Kumar Jatavat, Corporation Commissioner and Special officer.
The meeting was attended by City Engineer A. Lakshmanan and the Corporation Officers, Project Management Advisory Board and other Engineers.
