Coimbatore: As part of the routine inspections, Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer J Shravan Kumar on Thursday visited the differently-abled and self help groups training centre in Thudiyalur.
Coimbatore: As part of the routine inspections, Corporation Commissioner and Special Officer J Shravan Kumar on Thursday visited the differently-abled and self help groups training centre in Thudiyalur.
He interacted with the public regarding the facilities at the centre after the renovation works.
Following which he visited the Vellakinar pond, in Ward No:26, where dredging and reconstruction works are being carried out in an area of 6.5 acres, by various NGO's. He also inspected the construction of walkways, parks and other enhancements that are being carried along the water body.
Later, he visited Subanaickenpalayam in Ward:No:42, where preparatory works for the construction of a park is being carried out. He also visited the Srinivasa Nagar Park, in Ward No.42, which has been setup at a cost of Rs.72.16 lakhs.
Kavundampalayam MLA V.C. Arukutty, District Engineer R. Lakshmanan. North Zone Assistant Commissioner Senthilkumar Rathinam and other officials were present during the inspection.
