In the face of protests across the country against the Citizenship Amendment act, a women-only rally on behalf of the Indian Muslim Movement and the National Women's Front in Tirupur took part in a rally starting from Kangeyam road, close to the CDC depot.
At the end of the rally, the muslim women staged an agitation demanding the withdrawal of CAA and raised slogans against the central government.
