The accident took place at Gandhipuram bus stand on February 9 where over 100 buses enter and exit from various places. When two men in a two wheeler turned towards the bus stand's exit point, their vehicle collided with a bus and got stuck between the front wheels of the bus.
The driver immediately stopped the bus and the passengers from the bus rushed out and saved the two men.
As only the rider was wearing helmets, he escaped with injuries, while the pillion rider died succumbing to his injuries.
