Coimbatore: District Chief Justice Sakthivel has ordered the transfer of the Pollachi sexual assault case to the District Women's Court.
Coimbatore: District Chief Justice Sakthivel has ordered the transfer of the Pollachi sexual assault case to the District Women's Court.
The case was first investigated by the Coimbatore district police and later was transfered to CBCID. Subsequently, the case was transferred to CBI for various reasons, including political interference.
The five arrested in the case, Thirunavukkarasu, Sabarirajan, Satish, Vasanthakumar and Manivannan, were brought from Salem Central Jail today and were produced in Coimbatore District court.
Following this, District Chief Justice Sakthivel ordered to continue judicial custody till February 25. Similarly, Justice Sakthivel ordered the transfer of the sexual assault case to District Women's Court in Coimbatore.
