At a press meet held today at the hospital, Dr.J.Bhuvaneswaran, Director, PSG Super Specialty Hospital elaborated about the various functional departments of the hospital. Dr.P.R.Rajkumar, HOD & Professor, Department of Neurosurgery & Medical Director of PSGIMS&R briefed about the state-of-the-art neurosurgical procedures offered by the hospital.
He also launched the emergency trauma care number – 7449108108 during the press meet.
Dr.Rajendran, Head of the Department of Cardiology launched the preventive Cardiology Programme on the occasion.
Speaking about the Silver Jubilee celebrations they said, “The silver jubilee celebration of the Department of Neurosurgery and Super Speciality Hospital of PSG Hospitals is to be held at the PSGIMS & R Hospital auditorium on 14th, February 2020. G.R.Karthikeyan, Chairman PSG & Sons’ Charities will be the chief guest for the event. And, L.Gopalakrishnan, Managing Trustee, PSG Institutions will preside over the function."
They added that on the occassion, Dr.P.R.Rajkumar, HOD & Professor, Department of Neurosurgery & Medical Director, and PSGIMS& R Hospital will offer an insight into various achievements in his address on the 25 years journey of neurosurgery.
A logo to commemorate the 25 year journey will be launched on the occassion on February 14, the organisers told.
