Coimbatore: As a mark of unity and religious harmony, devotees who went to the Arul Murugan Temple to celebrate Thaipoosam, today were given a warm hospitality by a Church in Podanur as they opened up their hall for the temple feast.

The 43rd Thaipoosam festival of the temple saw amazing turn of events as the Bishop Ambrose Hall belonging to the Saint Joseph Church was opened up for the Hindu devotees who came for the festival.
Arrangements were made inside the church campus to offer feast for the hindu devotees with the help of people from other religion.
Overwhelmed with the support, the Hindu devotees said that such acts showcase the brotherhood in the country despite religious differences.
“These acts encourage us to support and help our brothers from other religions at all times,” they said.
The church administration that opened up their place said that they were happy to open up their hall and contribute along with people from Islam for the well being of their Hindu brothers.
