During a patrolling headed by Vincent Selva, Deputy Superintendent of Police (Narcotics enforcement wing), Inspector Saravanan on Thursday, the team intercepted two men who were roaming around the college areas in Peelamedu.
Upon inquiry, they confessed of smuggling MDMA (methylenedioxy- methamphitamine) and LSD (Lysergic acid diethylamide) stamped drugs for sale to college students in Coimbatore.
The accused were identified as J Deepak (23) Palakkad and B Jith (21) Chittur, Palakkad.
Police are on the lookout for two other drug peddlers who are reportedly absconding.
