Dinesh (9) and two others were playing near their house in Pudhu Nagar in Kandhal area in Ooty, this evening. Unexpectedly the compound wall of a house crashed on him, while others escaped. Dinesh who sustained grievous injuries to his head died on the spot.
Ooty Sub-urban police who came to the spot investigated the issue and sent Dinesh's body for autopsy to Ooty Government Hospital.
