Minister Dindigul Srinivasan stirs controversy, asks tribal boy to remove sandals from his feet

Nilgiris: The incident of minister Dindigul Srinivasan asking a tribal child to take off his sandals has caused a lot of controversies.



The Nilgiris: The video of Minister Dindigul Srinivasan asking a tribal boy to take off his sandals has stirred controversy. 

The Minister for Forests, Dindigul Srinivasan was in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve in the Nilgiris district to inaugurate an Elephant Welfare Camp. While he was walking down to the venue, he called a tribal boy and asked him to remove the buckles of his slippers. 

The video of the incident in which the tribal boy is seen removing the buckles and the Minister walking away after the incident has been widely condemned by the public. 

District Collector J Innocent Divya and other officials were present along with the Minister.
