Registering their disapproval against CAA, NRC and NPR, members of United Islamic Jamath Confederation staged a agitation at CTC corner on Tirupur-Kangeyam highway. The protestors raised slogans against the amended citizenship act which they alleged to be discriminating people based on their religions.
Joining the protests were Mohammed Barker and Sahana Fathima, a newly wed who tied the knot this morning. The couple in their wedding attire took part in the protest to show their solidarity and raised slogans against CAA and NRC.
