Coimbatore: BJP State Secretary and Founder of Coimbatore Makkal Sevai Maiyam, Vanathi Srinivasan donated a TATA Ace vehicle to NGO 'No Food Waste'.
Headquartered in Coimbatore, No Food Waste is a not-for-profit social enterprise which collects excess food from individuals, weddings, restaurants, etc. and distributes it to people who really need it. The NGO operates in 12 places including Chennai, Madurai, Salem and Trichy.
The NGO claims to have provided food to over 13 lakh people, so far.
