Coimbatore: A large number of DMK cadres took part in the procession on Monday, here to pay their respects to the Former CM and Dravidian Stalwart 'Arignar' Anna on his 51st memorial day.
Led by MLA N Karthik the cadres marched from Siddapudur, VKK Menon Road to Gandhipuram bus station. A statue of Anna and banners carrying Anna's famous quotes were carried by the cadres during the rally.
Following this MLA N.Karthik and cadres paid floral tribute to Anna statue's in front of the Gandhipuram bus stand.
Senior party leaders including Pongalur Palanisamy, SM Samy, Nachimuthu and many others participated in the memorial day rally.
