Coimbatore: A massive rally organised by All Jamaats and Islamic movements against CAA, NRC and other anti-people policies of the centre was flagged off here from Ukkadam, on Sunday evening.
Organsie 10,000 people including representatives of political parties, members of Islamic outfits, women and children took part in the march which commenced from Ukkadam and concluded at Red Cross society, near South Taluk office.
The protestors were seen carrying national flag and raising slogans saying "India is our motherland", "Revoke CAA and NRC". The rally will be followed by a meeting.
Over 3000 policemen have been deployed for security.
