Coimbatore: "What benefits did Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram's budget bring to the nation and people..? Moreover, he has no educational qualification in finance", mocked H Raja at a press meet in Mettupalayam (MTP) on Sunday.
Coming back hard on Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram who criticized on the recent union budget for 2020-21 by Modi government claiming it to be "irresponsible and astonishing", H Raja General Secretary of BJP accused that Chidambaram does not possess knowledge to comment on the budget.
H Raja was here in MTP to take part in a protest condemning the police for filing charges against BJP cadres.

"The charges filed on BJP cadres who were campaigning in support of CAA is highly condemnable. Based on false allegations by seven people of SDPI and PFI, the police have filed cases against BJP cadres", he alleged.
He also accused that members of SDPI and PFI have used derogatory language and threats on BJP women cadres for which the police have not filed charges on them.
Criticising the signature campaign by DMk against CAA and NRC, he said "By organising this campaign, DMK has given us an opportunity to identify nationalist and anti-nationals."
Commenting on a student suicide in Palayamkottai allegedly because of the teacher, he urged that the State government should probe the issue.
