This morning, special anointing rituals were performed for Lord Malayappaswamy. Following this Lord Malayappaswamy blessed the pilgrims in Surya Prabhai vahanam, Anna Pakshi vahanam, Sesha vahanam and Anumanth Vahanam.
Following this golden chariot procession began along with mantras being chanted when Lord Malayappaswamy with his consorts Sri Devi and Bhoodevi graced the devotees.
At the time, the women greeted the Lord with a palette of flowers, fruits and sweets. Devotees in large numbers attended the ceremony.
