We are awaiting six more results. And, the student who is undergoing treatment for Coronavirus is stable", informed K.K. Shailaja, Kerala Minister for Public Health.

To reassure the people that the situation is well under control and there is no virus spread in the State, a press meet at the Thrissur District Collectorate was held at 8 pm on Friday.
Earlier, the Minister presided a consultation meeting with doctors and discussed the precautionary and prevention measures to be taken to control any virus outbreak.
Minister for Agriculture B S Sunilkumar, Minister for Local administration A.C.Moideen, Minister for Education C. Rabindranath, District Collector of Trichur Shanawaz, Health Department Secretaries and doctors participated in this meeting and discussed in detail and proposed critical suggestions.
Apprising the press on the student who is been tested positive for Coronavirus, KK Sailaja, the State Health Ministry said, "The girl with the virus infection is being treated intensively and her health condition is stable now. 1471 people from China have arrived to Kerala and 50 of them are being monitored at various hospitals in the State. The other 1421 people are isolated in their houses and any their health conditions are closely monitored. 15 patients are under intensive care in Thrissur, however they are tested negative for the virus."
She added that as a precautionary measure, even people with slightest symptoms are being admitted in hospitals and are monitored closely.
"2706 doctors and staff have been trained to handle coronavirus. If people with symptoms reach out to the control room, they will be transported safely to a hospital in an ambulance", she informed.
The State Health Minister also advised people to act responsibly and warned to refrain from spreading unwarranted rumours. "Three people have been arrested by the Cyber crime branch police and cases have been filed on them for creating panic by spreading false information about Coronavirus", she informed.
