Tirupur: Paying homage to Rajasekaran, the Journo who lost his life in a road accident, journalists from print, digital and television took part in the condolence meeting held at Tirupur on Friday.
Rajasekaran (31) who worked as reporter for Tirupur District in Times of India, died in a road accident on January 29th. His mother, Jamuna Rani, who was travelling along with him in the car also passed away in the accident that took place on Tirupur-Annur road.
While Journalists, various political and social organizations across Tamil Nadu condoled his death, a condolence meet on behalf of Tirupur district journalists was held at the Press Club, on Palladam Road.
Apart from Journalists, Muthukannan on behalf of Marxist Communist party, Sekar from AITUC, Tamil Nadu farmers Association Kumar, Sundara Pandian from Nalaya Tirupur Makkal Iyakkam, Chandrasekar from Gramiya Makkal Iyakkam, Raghupathy from Nermai Makkal Iyakkam, Manoharan from Bank Association participated in the event and paid their respects to the young Journo.
A resolution was passed to extend support to his family.
