Tirupur: Kannan, a hosiery unit worker from the Avinashikoundampalayam area, next to Angerippalayam in Tirupur and his wife Pandiyammal have a one-year-old child named Kanishka.
Tirupur: Kannan, a hosiery unit worker from the Avinashikoundampalayam area, next to Angerippalayam in Tirupur and his wife Pandiyammal have a one-year-old child named Kanishka.
Pandiyammal was working in the house. The child was playing outside the house. After some time Pandiyammal came out and was shocked to see the child was missing.
After searching for the child frantically in the neighbourhood, Baby Kanishka was found suffocated in a bucket of water in the compound of the house. The infant was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital for treatment.
Then the child was taken to the Tirupur hospital, where the doctor said the baby was already dead. Everyone in the hospital was saddened as mother Pandiyammal and relatives grieved uncontrollably at the body of the child. Anupparpalayam police have registered a case and are investigating the death.
