'Bullet' Kandasamy who won as an independent candidate in the recent rural local body panchayat elections as Panchayat President of Theethipalayam Village. In his poll promises, Kandasamy had vowed to maintain cleanliness in his village and show the way by transforming his village into being plastic-free.
Living up to his poll promise, Bullet Kandasamy today stunned his villagers by taking part in a cleanliness drive along with the sanitary workers. He even cleaned clogged drainages and dry bushes along the roadside.
His act not only surprised his village people but also motivated them to keep their premises clean. Kandasamy also remarked they he would strive to make his Panchayat a tax-free and plastic-free panchayat in Tamil Nadu.
Among his thoughtful plans for his village, Kandasamy also envisions to make Theethipalayam Panchayat, a self-sufficient Village and enhance the basic amenities like clean drinking water, road accessibility and health.
It may be recalled that Bullet Kandasamy was elected as the President of Theethipalayam Panchayat in the last term, too.
