A review meeting was held headed by the CCMC Sravan Kumar Jadavat on the Swachh Survekshan 2020 to be held between January 04 - 31, 2020 at the Coimbatore Corporation Office and will be attended by officers from all departments. Deputy Commissioner Prasanna Ramasamy presided the meeting. Corporation Commissioner and Special officer Sravan Kumar Jadavat said that, "Swachh Survekshan 2020 is being conducted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India for ranking cities based on cleanliness under the Clean India Project.
Therefore, public of Coimbatore Corporation can cast their votes for the cleanliness of the Coimbatore Corporation through the toll-free telephone number of 1969, through the Swachh Survekshan 2020 app or on the web at http://swachhsurvekshan2020.org/CitizenFeedback."
Corporation Commissioner urged the concerned officials and employees to carry out cleanliness work in all areas of the Corporation in full swing. City Engineer, A. Lakshmanan, Assistant Commissioners - T. Ravi, Saravanan, Annadurai, Mohana Sundari, Senthil Arasan, Selvan, Mahesh Kanagaraj, Sundarrajan, Executive Engineer Saravana Kumar, Swachh Bharat Co-ordinator Thirumal and other officials were also present.
