Wellington Gymkhana Club, one of the oldest clubs in the country, has a recorded history of a century in the Nilgiris. As the 69-acre club is nestled among thick vegetation, wildlife including deers and gaur stray into the campus.
However, today the large herd of gaur caused panic among the visitors and the workers who had to wait out patiently for the herd to leave the place.
Throwing caution to the winds, many visitors were seen clicking selfies and pictures of the herd in close proximity.
