Condemning Rajini's recent speech on Thanthai Periyar, Dravidian parties across the State are on a protest spree demanding arrest of the actor for slandering Periyar.
Expressing their disapproval, the members of ATP led by Vendan Mahesh, District Secretary staged a road roko in Tirupur and attempted to burn the effigy of Rajini.
The Tirupur North police stopped the protestors and arrested them for the act.
