To promote cultural friendship, the group of dancers through an exchange program visited the camp at Thekkampatti where 28 elephants of various temples and mutts in Tamil Nadu and Puduchery are relaxing.
The Russians expressed excitement as many of them had seen elephants only in televisions and textbooks. They enjoyed watching the elephants bath, feed, and their naughty moves.
Lakshmi, an elephant from the camp welcomed the Russians by playing a Harmonica. The group clicked selfies with the elephants and relished their day.
