Coimbatore: The Executive Committee Meeting of the Coimbatore City District DMK was held today at the Muthamizh Arignar Kalaignar Library at Theppakulam Maidanam, Coimbatore. The District incharge N. Karthik headed the meeting. The administrative abuses of the Coimbatore Corporation were discussed in this meeting.

Following this, resolutions were made to hold continuous protests condemning the Coimbatore Corporation. They also condemned the Corporation's decision to convert venues allocated for public use into solid waste management centers, thereby turning the entire city into a dumpyard.
A decision was made to hold protests on Jan 31, 2020, in front of the South Tahsildars office, condemning the many decisions of the Corporation including Suez Water Supply.
