Coimbatore: The Tamil Puligal Katchi leader Nagai Thiruvalluvan was released on bail at 7.45 AM on Jan 14, 2020.
He was arrested for protesting in the Nadur wall collapse case in Mettupalayam and was imprisoned.
He was released on January 14th and he was received by the party’s State General Secretary Ilavenil, Coimbatore District Secretary Ravanan (a) Suresh Kumar, Coimbatore Youth Wing General Secretary Marx and a few other people.
Following this, the group of people led by Nagai Thiruvalluvan conducted an unplanned march on the streets from Jail road to Park Gate.
They also caused obstruction to traffic and disturbed motorists and shouted slogans on the road. They burst crackers on Nanjappa road and behaved in a way that endangered the lives of people.

A case has been filed for this on those who came to receive him and his cadres by the C2 Race Course Police Station under IPC sections 143, 341 and 285.
