Coimbatore: In the recently held advisory meeting of the Tamizhaga Hire Goods Owners Association (THGOA), new office bearers for the year 2020 were elected. All previous office bearers were honoured at the event held at a private hotel in the city.
Coimbatore: In the recently held advisory meeting of the Tamizhaga Hire Goods Owners Association (THGOA), new office bearers for the year 2020 were elected. All previous office bearers were honoured at the event held at a private hotel in the city.
The THGOA is the association of members who rent out items on a contract basis for various functions. Cooking utensils, Genset, Audio and video systems, stage setup and decorations, and shamiana, are part of the things rented out by THGOA.
S.Palanisamy - President, D. Manimaran- State General Secretary, S. Paulraj - State Treasurer and Thanjai. R. Siva- State Joint Secretary took charge as the new office bearers. Former President M. Parameshwaran and Former State Treasurer Dinakaran were honoured at the event.
Resolutions were passed requesting the formation of a welfare board for the members of the THGOA. Additionally, a resolution was passed against GST and to demand to bring out GST from 18% to 5%.
Executive members of the association from all over the State participated in the meeting.
