Coimbatore: A complaint has been lodged on behalf of the Campus Front of India (CFI) at the Coimbatore Commissioner's office here on Wednesday demanding action against H Raja, the National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, who his insensitive speech against students.

On December 20, 2019, BJP Tamil Nadu had organised a meeting in support of the Citizenship Act at Valluvar Kottam, Chennai. During the meeting, National Secretary of BJP, H Raja said "If students hurl stones from the campus, it will be reciprocated with bombs."
The controversial statement caused a great deal of shock and discontent among the students. Stating that various complaints have been filed demanding action against H Raja, for his violence instigating speech, a complaint has been lodged by the trustees of CFI seeking action against H. Raja, at the Coimbatore Commissioner's Office.
In their complaint, they accused that H Raja has threatened to bomb students in order to disturb public peace and incite riots. They urged that action should be taken against H. Raja for his intimidating speech.
