Coimbatore: First of its kind international expo 'Vibrant Kongunadu Coimbatore Global Expo and Summit 2020' (VKC GES 2020) focusing on multi-sectoral practical opportunities for Kongunadu will be held in Coimbatore between October 16 and Oct 18, 2020.

"More than 250 companies from 25 countries are expected to attend VKC GES 2020. With the help of Indian Embassies, road shows will be held in 25 countries to create awareness on the summit. And, bring together importers, investors, key sectoral manufacturers, technologists, service providers and traders together on a common platform to discuss, share, debate and celebrate the best key focus sectors of Kongunadu region", a press note said.
The VKC-GES 2020 is a joint initiative of the Vibrant Coimbatore Foundation in partnership with Global Network, an international trade advisory firm.
Dr Jagat Shah, Founder and Chief Mentor, Global Network said, “Inclusive development of Kongunadu in key areas such as innovation, sustainability, industries, technology, youth, women owned businesses and skill development, knowledge sharing and networking will be the primary focus of VKC-GES 2020."
He added that the event will create employment opportunities and give a boost to MSMEs and corporates in Kongu belt.
"After the launch, Vibrant Coimbatore Foundation, will attempt to bring all industry organizations, state and central governments on board", he noted.
Internationally acknowledged and successful persons from Kongunadu, hailing from over 20 different countries are expected to visit their native soil and with more than 250 Kongunadu-based companies as exhibitors, according to the organisers.
