Coimbatore: As part of the ongoing protest against CAA and NRC, over 5000 members of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) took part in the the Citizenship Security Meeting held on behalf of the party at Lorrypettai in Ukkadam, Coimbatore on Sunday.
Coimbatore: As part of the ongoing protest against CAA and NRC, over 5000 members of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) took part in the the Citizenship Security Meeting held on behalf of the party at Lorrypettai in Ukkadam, Coimbatore on Sunday.
Prior to the meeting, the cadres rallied rallied from Athupalam to Lorry pettai by holding the national flag and raising slogans against the centre alleging of enacting the Citizenship Act against the minorities.
Women and children also took part in the rally which was followed by a meeting.
