"On behalf of Communist Party, we've planned to request to form a separate Commission to investigate these irregularities which will be brought to the notice of the government in the ongoing budget session of Parliament", informed the Tirupur MP.
Commenting on the results of the local body polls, he alleged that AIADMK coalition has won through unfair practices. If not, they would have witnessed a massive loss, he added.
Citing that the AIADMK candidate who came third in Puthupalayam Panchayat was announced as the Panchayat President, he said such malpractices has been reported across Tamil Nadu. On behalf of his party, the issue would be escalated to Chief Election officer, he said.
Expressing his views on the ongoing protests against Citizenship Amendment Act, he said as Home Minister, Amit Shah has reitrated that they will not consider to revoke the Act, he said "Only people's protests will make them repeal the Act."
He also informed that the nine States who have announced of not implementing CAA in their states have the absolute right to do so.
