Coimbatore: A 6-year-old boy, who was injured in a two-wheeler accident in Valparai on January 2, passed away on Saturday at Coimbatore government hospital.
Dharani (6), son of Kannan from Periyakallar in Valparai, Coimbatore district, met with an accident near Vazhaithottam on January 2 around 9.45 AM. He was hit by a two wheeler and was injured critically.
He was rushed to the Valpaarai Government Hospital and later shifted to Coimbatore Government Hospital for critical care. Despite efforts, the boy succumbed to the injuries, today.
The Valparai police have registered a case and are investigating.
