Member of Thowheed Jamaath who was allegedly attacked by an AIADMK party admin and a few others due to previous vengeance is now being treated at Pollachi Government Hospital.
Mohammed Naufal (33) lives in Gandhinagar near Pollachi in Coimbatore district. He is the deputy head of the Indian Thowheed Jamaat.
In this case, an AIADMK flag post was erected on December 31, 2019 near Mohammed Naufal's residence in connection with MGR Peravai (a part of AIADMK) Youth Wing District Secretary of Anaimalai, Rahmathullah's house warming ceremony.
Condemning this, Mohammed Naufal asked them not to place the post in the entrance of the house. Shortly, the argument led to a scuffle. It is reported that Rahmatullah and some of his associates attacked Mohammed Naufal.
In the meantime, the victim who sustained injuries was rushed to Pudur Government Hospital for treatment and later shifted to Pollachi Government Hospital for further treatment. The footage of Mohammed Naufal being assaulted is now released.
Commenting on the assualt, Mohammed Naufal has stated that Rahmatullah and his aides have planned this attack out of past vengeance. He noted that they have been causing similar problems to him personally and also targeting his business. He said more than five people, including Rahmatullah, attacked him.
