There are 17 panchayats in the Karamadai Union. The election to elect the chairman and ward members for these posts was held on the December 30 and the counting of votes took place on January 2, 2020.
1) Odandurai Panchayat
DMK candidate Thangavel has won the post of Panchayat President.
2) Irumbarai Panchayat
AIADMK candidate Rajeswari who contested for the post of Panchayat president Councillor in Irumbarai won the election.
3) Chinnakallipatti Panchayat
DMK candidate SDR Rangasamy who contested for the post of Panchayat president in Chinnakallipatti Panchayat won.
4) Thekkampatti Panchayat
AIADMK candidate Nithya has won the post of Panchayat President
5) Illupannatham Panchayat
AIADMK candidate P Rangasamy, who contested for the post of Panchayat President won
