After inspecting a few polling booths in Ooty, the Nilgiris Collector, J. Innocent Divya was on her way to visit a polling booth in Siriyur Village which falls under the second phase of local body polls held today.
Unexpectedly, a wild elephant stormed into the road from nearby reserve and left everyone in shock. After a brief time, the elephant gave way for the vehicles as it left into the reserve area.
