A day after the Chennai city police arrested and released eight persons, including five young women, who were part of a platform called ‘Citizens Against CAA Group’, for drawing anti-CAA and NRC kolams in Besant Nagar, the DMK members in the State have called for more people to express their disapproval on CAA and NRC through Kolams.
Condemning the arrest as against fundamental rights to express, DMK leader MK Stalin and MP Kanimozhi have called the parties women cadres and public to express their dissent against CAA through Kolams.
Joining the bandwagon of the Kolam protest, DMK women cadres led by Saraswathi, in Sundapalayam on Thondamuthur Road, here drew anti-CAA Kolams.
