Tourist arrivals to Nilgiris from Tamil Nadu and various states increase drastically over the past few days due to the half yearly exam and New Year holidays.
Tourists are increasingly interested in boating, especially at the Pykara Boat House but to their dismay they've been saddened by the less number of boats that are available for boating which is causing big delays and long waiting hours.
"The tourists who come to the Pykara Boat House are met with insufficient boats and will be able to ride the boat without difficulty if the facility is upgraded. The tourism department should consider this and operate more boats," lamented tourists.
