Coimbatore: Tamil Nadu Congress Working President, Mayura Jayakumar has informed that new members would be inducted into the youth wing of their party soon.
He was speaking at the event organised to celebrate the Congress party's inception day at the district party headquarters in the city. The party flag was hoisted and sweets were distributed.
Apart from assertively stating that the DMK Congress combine would win the local elections, he also lamented about the poor involvement of youth in politics.
"The membership camp for youth to join the party would start soon in Tamil Nadu," he said.
He added that as Tamil Nadu Congress does not have a separate website, those willing to enrol in the party can visit the https://www.inc.in/en website. He also said that special membership drive camps will be held in the city to induct youngsters.
