Coimbatore: Edu Intec 2020, an initiative of CODISSIA will be held between January 3rd to 5th, 2020. The three-day event at CODISSIA trade fair complex will have 90 exhibitors and according to the organisers, 3500 schools across Tamil Nadu have been invited.

Speaking in the press conference organised in this regard, R. Ramamurthy, President, CODISSIA said, "Edu Intec will be a platform to connect schools and colleges with education solution providers and the industry. It will be an avenue for all stakeholders to debate and deliberate about the future of education and the role technology would be playing in the field of education."
"Coimbatore should become the educational hub of Tamil Nadu. CODISSIA is organising this event as an effort in this direction. The best part is none of the participants will market their courses and they will only participate in workshops and conferences to teach their academic heads to be up-to-date about technology. This is the first time that such a fair is happening in the state," added the CODISSIA President.
Conferences and workshops for students, teachers and heads of academic institutions have been planned as part of the event. According to the organisers, an experience zone has also been planned for students by the exhibitors. The three day event is supposed to be beneficial for schools and colleges, both Arts & Science and Engineering institutes.
Speaking about the event, P.V. Harikrishna, Chairman of Edu Intec said, "The future of education will be technology driven and educational institutes should be ready to re-align their strategies and try to embrace the changes. CODISSIA has taken a small step to address the need of the education sector. The education eco-system is changing and this event will be the right platform to connect all the stake holders in both school and higher education".
Entry is free for the event and the fair will be inaugurated on Friday at 10.00 a.m. by Nandini Rangaswami, Chairperson, GRG Group of Institutions.
