Coimbatore: Kousalya, an independent candidate who is contesting for Pilichi Panchayat had today engaged in campaigning along with her supporters for voting in Pettathapuram near Karamadai and in ThaneerPandhal by giving plant saplings and tree seedlings.

She gave away flowering plants to voters near Mettupalayam and also promised women's safety and preservation of the green environment if they people voted for her.
The second phase of polling will be held on the 30th of this month for Periyanaickenpalayam. With only two days of campaigning left, candidates are actively engaged in campaigning in the region.
She then went home to home to campaign votes by giving every voter flower vines and trees and promised to make the Pilichi Panchayat a green haven for all to see and promised to get all the basic amenities for the region. She also promised to take appropriate action in association with local youth to ensure the safety of women in her panchayat.
