While Santhosh Kumar, the primary accused has been arrested in connection with the rape and murder of the child who was playing near Pannimadai here on March 25. The mother of the child claims that the forensics report has confirmed Sathosh's DNA along with another man's DNA in my child's body.
"So, who is that another man? And, why the investigating officer has made no efforts to probe the issue based on forensics evidence which hints possibility of involvement of another man in the rape and murder of my child", questions the mother.
While the Special Court hearing POCSO cases announced that the final arguments for the case will end on December 19 and the verdict will be given on the December 27, the Child's Mother today has filed a petition in the Court demanding a thorough probe and urged that the case should should be led by a female officer.
