Coimbatore: Two government buses travelling on opposite directions on Mettupalayam (MTP) road on Tuesday, collided head-on, leaving at least 30 passengers injured.
Coimbatore: Two government buses travelling on opposite directions on Mettupalayam (MTP) road on Tuesday, collided head-on, leaving at least 30 passengers injured.

Trying to avoid a collision with a two wheeler, a government bus enroute from MTP to Coimbatore collided head-on with another bus from Coimbatore to MTP near Kuttaiyur on MTP road.

More than 30 passengers of both the buses sustained injuries in the accident. All injured were sent to MTP government hospital for treatment. Out of which, six of them who sustained grievous injuries were sent to Coimbatore Government hospital for treatment.
The Karamadai police are investigating.
