According to foresters, the deceased C. Chinnasamy, a resident of the Perukkupathi tribal settlement was found dead inside the reserve around evening. His mortal remains were spotted by local people who later informed forest officials.
While his mortal remains were sent to the Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital for autopsy, his family is to be offered an immediate solatium of Rs. 5000.
